2nd HU Germany Meeting(21.-24.5.2009) Registration is open - Welcome!

Hi to all Travellers,

finally the registration is open - thanks to Grant. We started to register two days ago and we already have the first guys in - some Germans and already four people from England - great!

We offer a nice place to camp, firewood, workshops, slide shows, gorgeous area for rideouts and plenty of nice people!

Of course everybody is welcome, it doesn´t matter if you have a 50ccm scooter or a 1200 GS, just come to a great meeting, close to Heidelberg.

You also can find the last years report of our 1st HU Meeting and lots of pictures, just go to the "Travellers Meeting Germany".

If you plan to show up, please register - it makes it a lot easier to organise the whole meeting - thank you!

If you have any questions - don´t hesitate to ask, there is no stupid question...

See you!

Jens - El Aleman

I'm looking forward to this, it's a very pretty part of Germany and only about 400 miles from Calais. I have fond memories of the Backfischfest in Worms where I realised that drinking 14 of the ridiculously small 0.1 litre glasses of wine was the same as two bottles!

Hey Flatearth, on the way to the meeting I'm planning to visit the Hackenberg Forts in the Maginot Line where my father-in-law (from Aberdeen) was manning the line in 1940 with the 51st Highland Division--Gordon Highlanders, Black Watch, etc. So if you fancy meeting up send me a PM.

Tim

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
