Xr250
Hey all, there isnt a general forum here, so I suppose the Honda forum is as good as any.
So my general question is regarding my xr250. Anyone here drive one more than a few thousand km's? I drove mine the furthest at about 400. My bike is a 97 or a 96, sadly I dont know. And has over 10,000 kms on it. I was hoping to be able to drive it from China to Europe this summer. Any obvious problems with the xr? I havent had any yet. Any limitations I am unaware of? Anyways, any advice is cool.. Matt

We had an XR250 Baja here in the UAE (1996 model) and we used it week in, week out in the hot desert dunes. It had its limitations (weight, mainly) but it was certainly very robust and reliable as well as a lot of fun to ride. Here are some links to XR250 info: http://www.justxr.com/jh_info/xr250ldoc.html http://members.fortunecity.com/chorzempa/xr/xrx.html Stephan PS You can delete your own post in the Yamaha section. |
