dommie cutting out

my mate has a 99 model 650 dominator with 7k on the clock which cuts out periodically at junctions etc. only does it sometimes though. i've looked about and apparently its a common fault on these. anyone solved it??

Cut-out

Yepp! the Dommie does have this habit. I never undertook any remedial steps other than throttle and clutch control approaching junctions I loved that bike !

Hi mate yeah mine did it mostly in cold icy weather.. I just turned up the idol speed abit and that sorted it .. You may notice that with a lot of offroad style bikes (KTM CCM ETC) there riders will set the tick over a bit higher to avoid the cut out problem
