clutch problems????????????
Hello to all you good folk out there,Can anyone help me? when i pull my clutch in the bike still wants to move the bike is a xr650r.
Thanks for any help.... |

Could be a couple of reasons, the ones I can think of are,
Incorrect adjustment of the cable. warped clutch plates Wrong grade oil or over filled. The clutch basket may be worn and the plates can't disengage. I just checked the manual and it mentions the centre nut could be loose. Check the cable and oil level first if you don't know what oil is in it change that next. Steve |

There should be an adjustment nut on the pivot point (#9 on the outside of the case)
that takes up the slack in the push rod (#11) Perhaps that has loosened up. How did the problem progress? Toby (charapa) Around the Block 2007 |
