Battery Terminal Corrosion
Anyone know of something suitable to put on battery terminals to prevent corrosion? I'm not sure about grease because its not electrically conductive...or am I talking rubbish?

I have used petroleum jelly (vasoline) for years. I am not worried about it being conductive as long as my connections are secure before hand. I am only concerned about excluding oxygen and preventing corrosion.

Grease is fine,as is Petrolium jelly.I've been using just normal grease only because i never seem to have any of the other stuff when i fit a battery, and i've never had any bad connections ever! I always use stainless steel bolts and nuts for the terminals too, again never had any problems/siezed bolts,etc...

I agree, grease is fine (So long as you have good contact between the terminals). The grease will then seal the contacts in a safe bubble, shielded from the elements.
