Tesch Pannier mounting
I just got new Tesch panniers for my PD (the racks should be here next week). I'm wondering how best to mount the panniers on the racks. I think they're designed to bolt onto the racks, but I'm looking for something that's easier and quicker to remove. I'd prefer to not have to break out my tools when I want to remove the bags.
I was wondering if the mounting pucks used by Touratech (and others) might work on the Tesch racks. The Touratech mounting system consists of "L" arms that wrap around the rack, then are tightened from inside the bag. Has anyone tried something like this to get a quick-release system with their Tesch bags? The problems with the Touratech mounts might be the angle bracket in the corner of the Tesch racks, or the shape/width of the rack's square tubing. Any other ideas for quick release mounts on the Tesch racks? Thanks. Story |

Hi
Ernie at overland solutions makes custom racks for Tesch panniers that are quick release. Not sure if the bike he did 2 weeks ago is on the website yet which has them fitted. www.overland-solutions.com Cheers Julio |
