Source for rear spring.

What are some good sources where I can get stronger rear shock spring for my Yamaha XT225. I rode it from Las Cruces, NM to Ushuaia, Argentina a couple of years ago & had trouble with bottoming on severe bumps or pot holes. I'm planning a trip to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska this summer & want to be preparred for the frost heaves, etc. I just want to eliminate the bottoming, not worried about high speed handling. It's a 20 hp moto so 65 MPH is about the max speed. I weigh 200 lbs. (But usually loose weight during the trip, lost 28 lbs. in 4 months going to Ushuaia!) & 100 lbs luggage, plus tools & other extras. A bunch of weight, but well under the XT225's listed maximum load capasity of 403 lbs. Any suggestions on spring rates would be appriciated. Also opinions on straight rate compared to rising rate springs. I sort of like the idea of the rising rate spring where you have the initial softness of the stock spring for light loads with an increase of spring rate to handle heavy loads & stop bottoming. Thanks for any help you can give me. ....Pete Chester

Thanks Ted. I have been checking out HyperPrp USA an international company that has a good reputation. They have a progressive spring that is designed for the Yamaha Serow (same as XT225) & probable is just what I need. Probable call them tomorrow.
PS: I have followed your travels on your site. The following will direct you to to 2 photo albums covering my trip to Ushuaia, Argentina in 2009 on my XT225.
************************************************

The following Links take you to photo albums on Facebook without having to join Facebook.
The two albums chronologically cover a motorcycle trip I took January 14 through May 9, 2009. I rode from Las Cruces, New Mexico down through Mexico, Central America & South America to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina & then up Buenos Aires, Argentina. The trip included 14 countries & I rode 13444 miles on my 2007 Yamaha XT225 motorcycle. I spent my 67th birthday in Ushuaia.
Instructions (For those that are not familiar with how the Facebook albums are set up.)
Click on the Link (URL) for the album. If you want you can save the albums in your Web Favorites for easy access later on (do this when you first open the album, before clicking on any pictures).
The album opens on a page of thumb nail pictures. To start viewing the album pictures, click on the first thumb nail picture. An enlarged picture pops up with the caption below it. Some of the captions are long so you will need to use the scroll bar to view them. To advance to the next picture or go back to a previous picture click on the Previous or Next at the top right of the picture. You can also advance to the next picture just by clicking on the enlarged picture. Contact me if you have any problems, questions &/or want to comment. Email: pete88c@yahoo.com . Feel free to send these Links to anybody that you think would want to view them.
