Panniers for Yamaha XTZ660
I picked up my `new` 1991 XTZ660 earlier this week and took it for its first spin to work today. A rather diiferent experience to my other bikes, which is exactly what I bought it for. Looking forward to having fun on it.
I have already fitted a givi baseplate to the rack to enable my top box to go on but I would also like to add some panniers. I already have a pair of the smallest Givi panniers which I use on a wingrack on my Trident, and would like to keep costs down by using them on the Yam also. It would appear that givi do not do a system for this bike in fact the only system I can find after a lot of googling is Hepco & Becker which also incorporates a rack. Can givi panniers be made to fit the H&B system? Has anyone used one of the givi `universal` wingracks on an XTZ? Has anyone got any other suggestions, other than having one made?
