overland solutions - no response

In the past three months I've sent two emails to Overland Solutions to ask them about several of their products for the R100GS, but I never received any reply. Each time I got an instant auto-response saying they received the email and would respond very soon, but never anything more.

I sent it to the email address on their website. Has anyone else had trouble contacting them? Are they not responding because they don't ship to customers in the USA? Their products have a good reputation and look good on the website, but I can't figure out how to establish email contact with them.

Thanks, Scott

Give them a call and leave a number. I´d guess your emails have got lost in all the spam that Ernie gets. He does ship to the States and I´m sure he wants your business.

Ernie was on vacation, which amazingly enough he takes the liberty of taking. I find this chocking, and am planning to log a formal complain! But that may explain the lack of responses...

This being said, Ernie, I do hope you are there as I will drop my bike off to you Saturday!

Iv tried emailed and phoning overland solutions many times. I dont ever get a reply nor is the phone answered (admittedly i dont leave answer messages).

I just asume the guy is superbusy because he is one of the best (so i hear) but a conformation would be nice. In-betweeen the frustration of trying to contact him iv found someone else to do the work.

Ernie is super-busy cos he knows bikes. having gone to Ernie on one bike, he was too busy when it came to the next bike so I nearly used someone else who turned out to be a complete muppet. the other guy works on road/race bikes and cars, but is clueless on dirt bikes and I ended up going back to Ernie.

Ernie is good at getting back to messages left on his answer machine (he sometimes just can't make it to the phone whilst welding and getting stuck into bike customising). He is getting very busy, so allow some time for him to get your bike prep'd for you - it's well worth the wait.

Mmmm, holidays... what are those like...
