Anyone found a way to secure fly rods?

Hi All,

Doing a Europe trip this summer some of which will be in a few countries where theft is high. Looking for a way to secure fly rods to my bike so it doesn't get stolen (e.g. might be a locking case that can be locked onto the bike.

Has anyone seen something like this? If so, can you point me to it?

Searched the forums without success.

not easy to make it completly thiefproof - what is? I use a tube inside a duffel bag, or strapped along bike between seat and pannier. So far no-one has tried to steal, but they are high value items, and probably very attractive.

If you google "fishing rods motorcycles" there is plenty to keep you out of trouble researching, but a locking system is not easy, any badmash with a knife or screwdriver will break any lock on your bike. Prevention (safe parking) is your most effective countermeasure. The ADV site has some threads
