From 12V car power adapter to Battery socket

OK - I am no Einstein when it comes to electrical stuff...

Where can I get a plug / socket / kit that allows to plug a 12v car cigarette lighter to something that fits the socket of my battery on my BMW (a R100GS)? And how is that called?

Thx!

I got regular car one from Halfords and simply connect it to the battery poles. Works well. Do not use it for a long time while the engine is not running.
