Shipping a transmission to Mexico

I just bought a used transmission for someone back in the states and now I need to get it here to Mexico. I have an address in Morelia and when I contacted UPS they referred me to their international shipping toolbox. It's pretty confusing trying to figure out what is applicable to shipping a used transmission. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that could share some experiences to help me get it down here as painlessly as possible.

Thanks

Use DHL, beware the extra charges with UPS brokerage.
