BMW - schoeller - comforttemp
My wife and I bought the whole kit.
Long underpants, undershirt, gloves. The test ride, Reno NV to Death Valley. Leaving Reno at 09:00, temp 30f (-1c)wearing C-temp pants, long sleeve cotton T-shirt, C-temp undershirt, Savanna suits with Gore-tex liners in. I was cool after 15 minutes so we stopped at the local BMW shop and I put on a fleece over the C-temp top. My wife did not. For the most part the C-temp suit worked well. Around noon in Tonopah, NV, temp 40f (4c)my legs were cooling off. My wife was fine. I think the constant cool wind on me accounted for me being cooler than her (behind me). If I had stopped to let the C-temp warm up it may have been warmer. I wanted to test them in some heat but it only went up to about 70f (21c) in Death Valley. Overall we are very happy with the C-temp suit. The gloves were very good, my hands were never cool. Cost, pants- $95US, top- $115US, gloves- $135US More under topic "eletric vests etc." |
