r80g/s supermotard
hello
i bought this and fixed a few things 6 months ago
it s a base of a r80g/s
front forks wp
swing arm / cardan longer and reinforced hpn
wp shock absorber
hpn tank
chassis reinforced by "piron" (small french company) working with "arcueil motor" during the paris dakar years
engine r100rs
rear : seat + plastic : husqvarna 610
exhaust : custom made (small french company)
excel wheels, tyre 110 front, 150 rear
etc ...

mr moto : yup it works well, i changed the tyres and put michelin pilot road 2 (110/70/17 front and 150/70/17 rear). excellent ! hard gummi on top, soft gummi on the sides. the excel wheels have also been modified/reinforced.
the bike is quite low because of the small wheels, despite the big long wp forks. looks a bit fat (because of the big tank) and agressive (the whole thing) but it s ok.
and it s a real pleasure to ride.
the 37/11 shaft drive (if my english is correct) of the r80g/s is a bit "short" for the r100rs engine. the gearbox is standard. so the bike does not go fast (max speed 170 km/h) but is really nervous + torque.
walkabout : yup, it s the ancester of the hp2 supermoto :-). i ve only seen once (mine) for the moment like this :-).

I didn’t know that arcueil motor was still in business. One of their old PD-bikes are at the HPN-museum, it’s quite massive but also fascinating.

it s an official bmw dealer
they are not preparing PD bikes anymore,
cenn8310 : the headlights + the small windshield come from a jap bike, don t know which, sorry.
the instruments : it s a "mod7ce", they use this on circuit / rally, very reliable, complete, water resistant : it s got : km/h, km run (total and 2 stage km positions), rpm, voltage (battery), engine oil temperature and 4-5 lights for oil, gear 0, battery, etc ... (standard)

Nice bike,  I'm curious about the 150 rear tyre, how does it fit?
The drive shaft is already very close with a 120! did you offset the rim with the spokes?
