R1200GS Which exhaust to buy?

Just bought R1200GS and want to put a new exhaust header on it.
*What is the best rated header for sound fit and money?

Thanks for any info...John.

Put my deposit down on a 1200 last week and awaiting delivery in November. My dealer recommended the Remus system. Apparently it makes the motor run more smoothly throughout the rev range and gives a couple of extra BHP. I'm always a little sceptical about these sort of claims, but it certainly sounds nice and looks better than the original can. I think I'll wait until mine is run-in before I decide whether to change it or not.

Hi all,

We put a Staintune on our F650gs and dakar. Great sound and a definite improvement in performance(not that I'm into scraping pegs etc) Don't know if they are available over there but they have a very good reputation over here!!

Hope it helps
Andrew
