R1150GS skid plate
Does anyone have any information regarding aftermark crash bars and skid plate for the 1150gs. |

Ive tried wunderlich crash bars they are easy
to fit and good quality, with a place to put lights on. dosn,t fit with certain big tanks, H&B bars give more protection and cheaper nice pics at www.gsclubuk.com.harder to fit. i have a wunderlich skid plate no probs more holes than touratech, sits on the center stand easy to fit. gauloises |

After much research and discussion, I put the H+B crash bars on. They provided good protection during a recent unplanned crash bar test. The bars did great, and they saved the bike from a lot of damage. http://www.manleyadventures.com/thum...s/DSCF0699.htm
As for the cat skid plate... is that thing worth protecting? If you put a dent in it, or even better a hole, that would be a good time to take it out of the system. But if you are required to keep it...
