BMW 650 Dakar Repair Needed in Mongolia
I have limped my way to Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia but both my front and rear suspension are shot. The front appears to only be fork seals and I have spares with me.
The rear is certainly the shock system but I believe there is more damage to the complete swingarm system - many parts/pieces inside and I have not been able to find anyone here who I believe is competent enough to tear this thing apart and tell me what's needed and then put it back together again properly. If it were only the shock I could do it, but as I rode to UB pieces were literally falling off the bike - it definitely needs a thorough going through from someone knowledgable about this particular bike. Any suggestions for a BMW 650 Dakar resource in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia? Thanks. |
