Adventurer's seat - what's it like?
Can anyone offer a comparison between the Adventurer's seat and the stock 2 piece thing? Are they the same height? How about the comfort? (I'm assuming the fittings are the same and the Adventurer's seat could be fitted to the base model.)
TIA.

Nick,
Theres been a lot of discussion about these seats on the GS owners club website. Some people prefer the standard seat to the new adventure style. I believe the official line is that the seats are not interchangeable, something to do with sub frames, but I know they are been swapped about. The other option is a Touratech one piece seat. I've fitted one to my 1100GS and really like the look though comfort wise it's not much different to a standard seat. They cost the best part of £220 all in from Bracken in London.
