1200 Gsa 2008

I have a 1200GSA, I would love to keep this bike for years. It will be one year old soon, has done 16,000 miles, can I get help with serving and repair work during the years ahead. I did do all my own servicing on bikes and cars, but not done any for years. I will take it to the BMW dealer for serving for the next year, but after this period I would like to move away from the main dealer. I live in Scotland, can I get a good machanic - if required and can I get some training to improve my knowledge?

It's an easy bike to service, I know several people that do their own service (it’s far between dealers in Norway).
