hi! coming to singapore?
bike do not have a carnet?
u have been homeless for a few years?

we are home grown singaporeans that had did our RTW 2008-2010 on our replaced Africa Twin, which the prepared one was stolen 2 months before the trip.

We do understand what travelers need and would love to 'give back' what the locals had given us hence, we would loved to give u a home in singapore.

do view our blog at singaporedream and leave us a message of any help u need.

we would be glad to give u a home.

nice invitation

Kia Ora from New Zealand

I am making plans for a bike trip from Singapore to Laos sometimes this year, and saw your post here, and thought that would be helpful to know someone in singapore that can help me with advice, and maybe put me up for a night or two, or three when I arrive, so i can purchase a second hand bike, if cheap, work out the paper work and stuff before getting off on my way..so I will say greeting to you today and a happy new year..

one question , and a reason why I signed on here today is, what is a carnot?? whats it for? never heard of one of those before..

cheers
Maaka

Hi Goh

We are in Northern Sumatra (Samosir, Toba) right now, and hoping to ship up from Belawan to Penang, Malaysia, early next week.

Up until now only ever seen the inside of Changi Airport either on our way to Aus or NZ .. and as we will have about a week 'spare' when we get to Malaysia we have been thinking of popping down to Singapore for a couple of days (maybe three) to take a look around.

We would love to meet-up with a friendly Singaporean who could point us in the right direction if /when we get there, so please do let me know your contact details and hopefully we could get-together. Maybe you could send me a PM (or e-mail) with your contact details?

All the best

KEITH [and ELLEN]

PS - By the way, we return home to England (from KL) on Thursday, July-12.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
