Colombia hostel

Hi guys

After 8 month of riding from Chile all the way up to Oregon and across to Miami, I'm now back in Cali, Colombia with my bike and Colombian wife Diana and our little daughter Laura.

1st of August 2008 we started a super nice hostel in the nice part of Cali called Santa Monica.

If any of you guys head this way its cheap, quiet and safe and we'll help you in any way we can.

We have airport pick-up and since I have flown my bike in and out of Cali, we can help with all the legal matters of arriving or leaving Colombia via air.

CASA BLANCA HOSTEL (& Motolombia)
Avenida 6 bis, Calle 26n, #57, Santa Monica Residencial, Cali, Colombia.
GPS coordinates: 03°28'09"N, 076°31'47"W

Tel. (+57) (2) 396 38 49 Fax. (+57) (2) 668 99 86

Hey Kaiser, I'll check it out for sure when I am over there. Do you know if it is easy to find work in Colombia? I want my trip to take an entire year so I am hoping to find work between Costa Rica and Colombia.

Well I don't think its easy to find good pay if that's what you mean ;-)

But people are super friendly and since most people are scared of coming here they are not used to turists and therefor treat you like a rock star.

Great! I've always wanted to be a rock star!

Pay is not really important as long as it covers living costs so that I don't dig into my savings.. hopefully

GPS Coordinates

How about some GPS coordinates? I'm not going to be in Cali for a couple of months, but I doubt I'll get better at finding physical addresses than I am now.

What's your bike parking situation like?

I'll get some GPS coordinates posted soon and a new homepage Velkommen - moski2.net ...lad dig ikke narre af vægten (for now Facebook group: Casa Blanca Hostel)

For now there's parking inside the hostel store and I also have a night watchman. I'm working on a fence/roof solution on my parking area.
