Nigeria, Abuja - Camping

This seems to be the campspot most people end up at, but it isn't listed here.

The Sheraton hotel (you DO NOT need a GPS co-ordinate to find it) lets overlanders camp in the back corner of their grounds. Arrive and ask the guards at the front gate about camping and they will show you around to the spot. It is all legit, you will be registered and get a key to the toilet and shower facilities.

N2500 for up to 5 nights (1-5 nights is the same flat price).

There is also good street food and a good bakery near the hotel's front gate (over the road and to your left).

Does the Sheraton make you pay now?

For a long time camping in the field behind the hotel was free. I thought they made enough money from the overpriced s bought by overlanders in the Elephant bar to keep it like that.
