buying motorcycles for a one month trip
My husband and I are planning to tour New Zealand in February/March 2006. We would like to buy motorcycles there and sell them again after our one month tour. We would probably arrive in Auckland (from Canada).
Would anyone have any advise or info regarding places to get good 2nd hand bikes. Preferrably BMW's as that is what we are riding here. |

I ythink what you will need, if you are only going to be here one month is either a good hire rate (!!) or a buy-back bike. If you are arriving and leaving from Auckland, then I recommend Experience BMW up there. Failing that, one of the on-line auction places (www.trademe.co.nz or www.bikepoint.co.nz) with the hassles of selling it again when you leave. If you are planning on leaveing from the South Island, then I could help you with selling it. Whatever happens, make sure you look us up when you are down south. We would love to meet you. Feel free to contact me directly for any more information.
