hello

for those that cant seem to find the other listing, here are the accomodation options for the meeting ,the laurel hotel has very limited rooms ,so be quick
phone kim on 0260723541 , camping behind the pub(piccie below) is first in best dressed, for bikes only at the back of the pub and cant be reserved,so be early and numbers are limited ,its a whopping $2 a night ,no showers ,but you can use the caravan park ones for $2 or harden the %#@ up and jump in the snowy creek
the magorra caravan park is 500 -Ish metres away and you can call ted 60723568 ,they have vans for a pretty good price just mention horizons ,a brilliant kitchen and heaps of camping on the mitta river
have also booked a guest house across the road from the hall a couple of hundred metres form the pub
and a great place for maybe 4 couples who want a bit of space ,its 4 km away and bloody brilliant Witches Garden or phone felicity on 0260723533

So I missed the 2009 meeting. When can we expect the next? If I'm in the country by then I'd like to help wherever I can.

How about next year, 2010?

There has been some talk about having a meeting up here in Queensland.

Since a lot of us couldn't make it down south - me being one of those who couldn't make it is extremely disappointed! I would have love to have gone.

So keep your ear/eyes open as there maybe a mini meet up here...

MAX, sounds like with a little push you could be sticking your hand up to have the meeting in Queensland, it would be a lot better for me than lugging all my luggage down to Victoria each year, Locky.

Where ever it is, I'll try my best to be there. There is nothing nicer than to spend a weekend with fellow overland travelers.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
