Shipping from India to Egypt
Hi there
my brother, me and a few friends are planning a fairly unconventiaonal trip in a Mk 2 Land Rover that belonged to my Great Uncle in India. He originally drove it from the UK to India in the late 1950's and we plan to go to go there, do up the Land Rover and drive it back to the UK overland. The route we are planning will take us down through India and across to North Africa, then up into Sicilly but we are having a few problems finding freight for the vehicle from India to either Sudan or (more likely) Egypt. Does anyone know the best way we could do this? we've had one quote for approx £1500 from Mumbai to Alexandria but this is more than we wanted to pay, can it be done locally? Many thanks in advance!
