Misrata SOS

Hi,

I have been contacted by someone out in Misrata with a 300TDI LR with a suspected head gasket failure. He is struggling to get it sorted because it is a diesel.

He seems to think there is someone here that may be able to help??

If anyone here can help please get in touch.

Many thanks.

Tell him to check the "P" gasket behind the water pump (housing to block) - most usual cause of 300 H/G failures is this leaks catastrophically without being noticed causing sudden overheat. If it's leaking and he's not noticed, it'll happen all over again, and the heads don't cope well with that!
Good luck,
Simon.
