mercedes 190 or 200 for asia way

hello there i have heard a lot about people who travel to africa with an old merc and the sell it!!! does that also work for central asia, (iran pakistan mainly) are there populat there?? anyone who has done it or heard of people who did it id apreciat it!!! thank you

Iran/Pakistan/India you will need a Carnet de Passage for the car,
which prevents you from selling your car, as it's insurance against exactly that.
