WTB: SUV in Chile or Argentina
I am looking for a mid-full size SUV to in south america to drive around and explore with my girlfriend. We are currently in Arequipa Peru and are willing to travel to buy a vehicle, with plans to head to Patagonia in the next few weeks. I am open to any reliable vehicle with a slight bias towards toyotas (Land Cruisers or 4runners) and a preference for manual transmissions. We are US citizens, so a US vehicle would be ideal but anything should work. Our budget is up to $10,000 US but cheaper would be welcome. We are also interested in any expedition equipment that may come with a vehicle.

Currently in Santiago, any advice on dealers for vehicles or reliable shops? Trying to buy Phil's Iveco but looking for other options in case that does not work.

The deal with Phil fell through so on the hunt again for something 2 people can comfortably sleep in available asap. Currently in Mendoza and heading south.
