Wanted Landcruiser 60/80 or 97 Hilux Double Cab

Hi there I'm after a 60 or 80 or HIlux 96/97 Dual Cab in reasonable condition. I don't mind doing a bit of work to get it shipshape. Please pm me if you have anything like this. Happy to pop over on the weekend to pick up the right vehicle. Many thanks Nick

B*ll*cks - I've gone and written it off after being rear-ended hard enough to bend the chassis, and being rammed into the vehicle in front. Well there you go

Looks like I'm looking for another overland vehicle. It was quite a good truck though the engine wasn't a beast by any means, it's very light and if power to weight ratio is important in sand, probably a perfectly good overlander though not very comfortable, cheap too in parts and so-on... I shall have to look for something else.

Damn!

Is it not repairable?
Paint and panels can be rough and ready on an overlander, could the chassis be botched/repaired?
Plenty of spares around for Hilux's

Good luck

Nope it's a goner Chris - it's going to be cheaper to walk away from this one, as it's damaged front and back and I want a reliable engine. I don't have that much time to mod cars so it will cost me too much to fix. So I'll get the insurance money together and try find another one...

Anyone gone overlanding in a hilux then?
