Hi,
We did the same (car arrives in Cape Town in 3 weeks) and will see the North when (hopefully) transit gets easier in Egypt.
What's your route plan - we're now going to head to Namibia first, then maybe Botswana / Vic Falls, before back to S Africa in order to try and avoid the wettest times in Zambia / Malawi, before heading North?

Thank you for let us travel with you!

Much work to keep us readers at home updates, specially together with the pictures. Often the Upload speed is not the same than at home...

last blog

Hi

... this is the end, for now

We are back in the BlackForest, enjoying our home and preparing for normal life ... everything is fine, but I will have an operation to get the cocxic fixed

This the chance to get on the bike again and this year we will decide, if we travel with 2 or 4 wheels in the future .... hopefully it works in the favour of our KTM 690 ... they sitting in the garage and waiting for new adventures

You can read the last blog at miles-to-ride.com

Thanks for following us, Cheers

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
