Flying Bike from UK to Central America

Hi all

Looking at doing a trip to Central America and was wondering where is the best airport to fly the bike to and also what type of cost is involved to get it there and back.

The bike should weigh in about 220kgs.

Thanks

Julio

Hi Julio

I'd consider flying into San Diego or Los Angeles, CA, instead of Central America. San Diego is just north of Baja California, you could drive through Mexico and Central America and fly out of Panama.

BA and Lufthansa would be possibilities, as would Motorcycle Express (link on the Shippers page):

Motorcycle Express quote is US$1,777. one way. At the Panama end, you could ship it back to England for quite a bit less than flying it.
