Travel time and road conditions between Monrovia and Dakar
Hi,
Looking to make a trip from Monrovia to Dakar in early/mid August (i.e., rainy season). Trip will either be along the coast or via Bamako, or (maybe) a round trip using both routes. I’m looking to estimate trip time and get a feel for road conditions. I have about a month am trying to see what’s possible. Does anybody have information on road conditions in the following countries: - Guinea - Guinea Bissau - Gambia - Senegal - Mali Does anybody have any idea how long a total trip would take using route 1 (up the coast) and using route 2 (via Bamako)? Also, it would be good to estimate trip time between the following cities: Route 1 - Freetown to Conakry - Conakry to Bissau - Bissau to Banjul - Banjul to Dakar Route 2: - Freetown to Bamako - Bamako to Dakar Any info you can provide would be great.
