Malaysia

Hi

Hereafter some info after 3 weeks in Malaysia on a BMW 800 GS 2 up:

- Shipment from Luxembourg to Kuala Lumpur by DHL, very efficient
- It is possible to do clearing oneself, but easier to use a local clearing agent. I highly recommend Vicky S. VICNESHWARAN, miceroi@yahoo.com, tel +60122880824, very reliable person
- If you a problem with your Garmin GPS you should contact Eric EMIR from AECO TECHNOLOGIES, 43, Jalan Jejaka 2, Taman Maluri, Cheras 55100 Kuala Lumpur, tel +603 9285 8062, mobile +6016 920 8062 farzreeq@gmail.com GPS GARMIN MALAYSIA: AECO Technologies , he loaded very detailed routable Maps for Malaysia and Indonesia on my GPS for 20 Euros
- Third party insurance: One can get it easily from The Automobile Association of Malaysia.3rd floor Bukit Bintang Plaza ( just ask for BB Plaza)>Jalan Bukit Bintang.KL. 25 EURO for 12 months.
- Second East West Highway to Cameron Highlands: very scenic drive, you will love it
