Best recommended flight Bogotà to Panamà

Hi guys, I am finally leaving South American to Central America and I decided to forward the bike on a plane from Bogotà for time and logistic reasons.
I have to fly myself too and the best price I found on despegar.com.co is 450 USD.
Does anybody know a better way to get a better deal for this flight?
Thanks in advance.

Don't use Despegar ? :-)

I'd advise the best thing to do is either go to the airport and buy one there, or if there is an airline office/booking agent in Bogota (your hotel/hostel should know) then go there.

However, the price is probably about right, one way flights are usually stupidly expensive.

Thanks BRuce, do you really suggest I could fin a cheaper ticker at the airport or from a local agency (considering they are normally more expensive due to the commission they charge)?
Please let me know what you think.

I had the same problem there and the price was that or more, the way I did it on the end I used 10000 frequent flyer miles I had with Mileageplus from United and paid only $ 41.75

When I wasn doing it the other way round, Panama to Bogota, I found it cheaper to buy the ticket at the airport. I just walked up to the desk and booked it.

Also I don't trust these cheap online sites :-)

Or you could just go to Copa's own website. https://bookings.copaair.com

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
