SHIPPING CHARGES from KL / Port Klang to Sydney Each crated bike was 2.62m3, for a total of 5.24m3 (meters-cubed) $1.00 = 3.80RM / $0.27 = 1.00RM Shipping ($25/m3) $131 Crating (250RM/bike) $135 Fumigation (120RM/bike)* $65 Trucking (40RM/bike) $22 Customs (30RM/bike) $16 Bill of Lading ( " ) $16 EDI Fee ( " ) $16 LCL Fee (35RM/m3) $50 TOTAL COST FOR 2 BIKES: $451 * Transit time to Sydney is 13 days * Cost in Sydney to receive goods were VERY EXPENSIVE and it takes a couple of days of running around -- paperwork, etc. - US$432 for handling charges and a small portion was for Quarantine Inspection

NOTE: Mr Murali was Top-Rate. Benka used him to get her bike from Malaysia to Nepal, and Mika Kuhn used him to import from Japan (I think). He's also sent/rec'd vehichles. Port Klang is about 50km from Kuala Lumpor, but Murali will probably treat you to a great seafood dinner on the waterfront, then deliver you to train which goes direct back to KL.
