Event Registration

Registration fee includes admission to all presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, tech clinics, parking and Wi-Fi access if available.

If you wish, at the end of registration you can choose to pay in full for your registration, food, accomodation and t-shirt, by PayPal, Major Credit Card, or Bank Transfer, OR pay half now, and the balance on arrival at the event!

Food, glorious food!

This event features a combination of International, Romanian and Szekely traditional recipes cooked on the open fire:

Tochitura bucovineana with pork - is a traditional Romanian and Moldovan dish made from pork cut into small cubes, (tochitura comes from the verb "a topi" which means "melted slow fried meat in fat") cooked over low fire in its own fat and juices usually in a cast-iron pot. It is traditionally served with over-easy eggs and mămăligă.
Romanian Sarmale
A traditional Hungarian Goulash is a soup or stew that is usually filled with tender beef and onions spiced with paprika. It also includes vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, peppers, and tomatoes.

A shot of Palinca (traditional Romanian beverage) will be on the house on arrival.

These meals are an excellent way to meet fellow participants and talk to presenters, and since you're eating right there on site, you won't miss any of the presentations. Always enjoyable and amazing value at only €9 each!

There will be a vegetarian option offered at each meal - we will need numbers for these, so please indicate when you register if you wish a vegetarian meal. Special diets can be accommodated with advanced notice within reason.

You can pre-book individual OR all meals, so you don't miss out on the yummy food! There will be vegetarian alternatives, so let us know your preferences when you register.

NOTE: Breakfast is included with all accommodation options, including camping.

From welcoming travellers at the gate, to taking care of the campsite and making sure all the presentations run smoothly, the success of every HU event relies on the enthusiasm of its volunteer crew. Volunteering only involves a few hours of your time. It's a great way to make new friends, get more involved with Horizons Unlimited and have loads of fun!

If you have a current first-aid qualification, or if you're a practising Doctor, Nurse or Paramedic, would you mind being on call for two or three 4-hour shifts to deal with any (minor) medical emergencies? Please join the Volunteers crew.

We send out an event Presenters schedule approximately two weeks before the event to the volunteers along with a Volunteer schedule. You see the schedule before everyone else does! You can then feed back any changes you need so you get to the seminars you want to see - we don't want you to miss anything!

Let people know what you ride, where you've been, and where you WANT to go! A GREAT conversation starter on your name badge!
