Thanks for volunteering to present at an HU Travellers Meeting!

The more we all share what we know the better it is for all of us travellers. And, we want you to have fun, and for your presentation to be fun and informative for the audience. So how do we do that?

1. We'll give you some tips to make it less scary if you're new to presenting:

PLEASE submit your request at least 30 days prior to the event. We can often deal with less, but it can be hard, especially for the larger meetings.

NOTE: Meetings can include a variety of food packages / options.

Food is NOT included for presenters, but if you wish to order food please order by using the additional Options below for your meeting. If your meeting is not listed, food etc is pay on the day.

Presenter Accomodation is NOT included. It may be free camping if it's free camping for everyone, otherwise it's an optional extra payable on the day or as noted below.

T-shirts

A synthetic T-shirt is free for all presenters, but if you prefer you can order one or two cotton tshirts.

PLEASE tick your size and colour choice - it will make ordering a lot easier for us, AND ensure you get your T-shirt at the Meeting! (No order no shirt!)

If you want more than one synthetic tshirt, please indicate in the Comments box below and we'll contact you to sort payment and the order.
Extra Cotton T-shirt is $15, extra Synthetic, $35.

4. We want to give you the right billing on the meeting page:

5. We also want to make sure that you have the technology you need, ready to go, and the right type of room.

What technology do you need?

Note there will always be a PC laptop and LCD projector/beemer available. If you need anything else, please let us know. Ideally a flash drive is best with your presentation in PowerPoint. A CD will do, but is often a problem. TEST IT on other computers besides your own to make sure it works!) If you have a laptop and can bring it, that always helps to make sure it works! If your presentation is from a MAC, best to bring the Mac, we have PC's but rarely have a Mac available. Also make sure you have the adapter to connect your mac to a VGA port.

Powerpoint, HU supplied laptop, remote control and a screen is available for all presentations.
I will bring a laptop
LCD Projector/Beemer with remote control/ laser pointer
Film slides - YOU must have a slide
projector, we don't.
Sound system for Music or DVD Video (i.e. external speakers, not just laptop sound)

How long would you like? We normally limit presentations to 45 minutes, plus 5 or so for questions. If you really need more time, let us know so we can try to work something out.
