Thank you... I found the instructions.

I have already raised the needle by one clip and drilled the hole too.

installed a 155 main jet(in the slide carb) but the instructions say if its still lean to go with the 160 jet.

It seems to bog down when trying to accelerate...

nikroc 15 Aug 2016 19:01

I have put the 160 jet in.

Next ,and final step in the instructions is to drill the main jet in the cv carb,if still lean. drills are provided.

as I've put the 160 in should I drill it/the cv carb main jet to the larger of the two sizes?....

I have 115 drilled hole on the cv and 140 mainjet and its perfect all the way, plug is good colour always too.

Yes the drill was a 115 drill and used on the cv, main carb 140. Iam thinking your have more than enough fuel so dont drill bigger on the 160. Hole drilled in that diaphragm was 40

nikroc 15 Aug 2016 19:54

Thanks...so you drilled the the cv carbs main jet?..ok ill do mine. Dya think I shouldn't put the 160 in the slide carb?..

the hole in the cv carb was drilled out to 40 too..

No no thats all wrong, mainjet 140-150, slide jet drill original jet up to 115. If you have drill that size if not do 120 jet. I really dont know what your carb have original, but the xt second crab was 104, drilled to 115. Mainjet 120 changed to 140.

I'm tired and struggling at the minute.

Parts that came with the SIGMA jet kit:
Slide Carb main jets 150+ 160
slide drill 40
cv main jet drill 53 +52

I have put the 160 in and drilled the slide hole to 40 on the cv

,

xtrock 15 Aug 2016 20:20

Well can you tell me what you removed out original? Maincarb is the 150, but dont understand about that 52-53..

nikroc 15 Aug 2016 20:43

changed the main jet in the slide carb to 160 and the pilot jet to '50 -VM' supplied in the kit.

drilled the hole in the cv carb to 40.

the 52/53 are marked a the CV main jet drill. the 52 measures 1.63 mm,the 53.0.55mm using a digital caliper.

moved the clip on the CV carbs needle down one space towards the pointed end..

hope that makes sense ..

xtrock 15 Aug 2016 20:46

Yes, but tell me the size of the jets you removed from carb, what is mainjet and sec carb size?

nikroc 15 Aug 2016 20:50

no markings on the originals I'm afraid.. I lied. theres is but I cant see them clearly. will try again tomoz when I'm refreshed .

Thanks for the help.

Well it seem pretty much to me with 160 on the second carb, do you have any part list to check?

xtrock 15 Aug 2016 21:09

Check with the drills they provided, see how much difference there is when measure on the holes on the jets.

nikroc 15 Aug 2016 21:33

I have posted the parts list I got with the kit and detailed what I have done following the instructions.

tbh I cant physically see the markings on the original jets but have to assume their standard/originals
