I rode with my amigos on a tour with Toby in the fall of 2014. On top of having a great time riding, enjoyed ever every aspect of working with Toby. And I can be a fussy traveler...so that says a lot. He is a stand up guy and really knows motorcycles and Peru (and beyond.)

Currently planning/dreaming about a trip to the center of South America, through the Amazon grasslands, across north then eastern Brazil. Finally coming back through Paraguay, Bolivia and back to Peru. Getting a bike from Toby makes a lot of sense to me and riding a 250 cc to a ripping good time off the tarmac.

I'm planning a ~3 month trip to SA starting at the end of the year and I really want to do it on a motorcycle. My Spanish isn't good, so your offer seem very nice.

Is there any problems/challenges associate with:
a) taking the bike outside of the country
b) taking the bike outside of the country and not returning it in the Peru (e.g. storing it for a year in Argentina until my next travel).
c) selling the bike outside of Peru (either for parts or whole)
d) dumping it in a ditch somewhere (if it brakes down)

No, no problem taking the bike out of the country as it will be in your name. NO problem leaving it in another country (unless you sell it there!). It MAY affect your being able to return to those counties if they keep computer track of those things... or if the TVIP expires while in a country..

I do a BUY BACK if it is a bike I usually use in my Adventure Tours...
