Hi
I will be in Turkey late June..
I have already purchased a pair of tkc80s (120\17 & 160\17) with the intention of carrying them with me through Europe, but it might be easier to sell the ones I have and purchase them in Turkey if they are available.

Cheers
Mark

sorry my mistake - i have 150/17 rear tkc80 - I'm putting them on a kawasaki versys 650
(standard size is a 160 rear on the 2007 versys)

BoRaBoRa 2 Mar 2015 11:26

Pirelli MT60 RS Corsa would be perfect choice for your Versys, and it's available.. :thumbup1:

Hmm. . Good tyre, but not sure it's got the mileage I need from it. . I want to get across Kazakhstan into Russia to Vladivostock on the set of tyres I fit in Turkey.

I've been running a pair of maxxis supermoto tyres, which are very similar.

BoRaBoRa 2 Mar 2015 16:38

how about Pirelli Angel GT, or Metzeler Tourance NEXT..?

trackdayrider 27 Mar 2015 13:19

Ok

I'll go with the tkc80 120 front and 150 rear. .
Can you pm me a rough price guide?

I'll pick them up en route

I will need to change tires in Turkey on my way to the East. Having read this thread so far, it still seems to be difficult to get Mitas E-07 in Turkey. They are my first preference in terms of mileage. Another option would be the Heidenau K60 Scout. Also not easily available. Any alternatives?

BoRaBoRa 31 Mar 2015 19:19

i mostly can supply Continental, Metzeler, Pirelli, Michelin, Bridgestone, (and Dunlop supersport and circuit series only)..

many importer companies have been distributor for Mitas and Heidenau but no one continued..

can you please tell me your dimensions, i can check availability...

It's a 1200 GS oilhead:
110/80 R19
150/70 R17
Another option would be the Conti TKC 70.
I've also seen that you posted about the Anlas CapraX/CapraR. Can you recommend these tires?
