xt600e exhaust studs

Hi folks,

My downpipes are rusted through on my 2001 xt600e.
Luckily the bolts have all come off without any drama but I want to replace the studs and bolts to avoid any future problems.

Can anyone point me to a good source of polished stainless downpipes, studs and bolts for my xt600e. I can get yamaha studs and bolts no problem but thought that stainless would be better. What do you think and where can I get them.

Thanks for you input,

Jack

Thanks

Cheers for the replies folks.

Downpipes looke like a choice between CRD, Motad, KEDO(devil) and Predator.

Kedo look nice but they're expensive and they ain't in stock. Into the bargain I read someone saying that they did not come wth a polished finsh. Is this the case?

Quite a few folk seem to think that Motad aren't that well made(need bent to fit) and are not a polished finish. Is that true?

Predator look nice. Does anyone have them? Are they a good fit and are they polished?

Anyone got CRD and are they polished and a good fit?

Cheers again folks.

hi there i bought some new motad downpipes about 2 years ago for my 1985 43f xt600 and they were a perfect fit , no problems at all , they dont come polished but it is not a hard job to do so , but bear in mind they will discolour as soon as the engine is run to a straw colour they will not stay shiny chrome looking , ive not seen CRD pipes has anyone got pictures of these . i do like the look of the kedo ones , but i got the motad ones at a very good price and like i say they fine . zigzag just seen the picture of the CRD one above must pay more notice ,nice looking pipes zigzag

I just can't see any other downpipes beating the Kedo's Devil downpipes including shipping!

I got mine for 150 or 160 € shipped to the Azores!

I just realy love the little liquorice-wheel they supply in the parcel, makes me order new stuff all the time =)

I ordered the Kedo SS headers, they werent in stock back then either, but they got them in a matter of a few days.

I've gone for the Kedo header pipes. The liquorice tipped tha balance.

Thanks again for the advice.

Awesome choice :P

I love mine!
Although that shinny stainless color goes away fast if oil and dirt get on it if you don't properly clean it..

Good luck!

Funny shit, when Kedo sent Devil headers i thought the liquorice was some sort of gasket or sealant id never seen before. LoL

The pipes were perfect & the liquorice was just a bonus. :thumbup1:
