You'd be lucky if you get more than 50 hp at the rear wheel of the biggest ones (5**cc EXC)...

But I agree, they are damn light and with the short gearing they truly are wheeling machines...

agree, leave alone claimed hp figures, rear wheel horspeower is another story.

Even a 690 needs some serious work to give over 70 rwhp,

In supermono road racing people are knocking on 80 rwhp, but these are very short fuse motors with not much of a power band.

Yeh well its not so importan how many hp they actually have and give out, they are giving all the power you need for a bike like that with low weight. The XT is missing 10hp for beeing best allround.

Yeah with extra 10 hp it would do wonders

http://youtu.be/3B8oBMBV7LY this is mine with a fully custom exhaust from headers to tailpipe in which I copied fmfs' powerbomb... converted it in a single 38mm mechanical dellorto Carb... the improvement in power is staggering... couldn't believe it was my xt... what do u think?

Its hard to tell when you look at this movie, had to ride to tell difference. It seem to me like mine is pulling just the same, if you can tilt the camera down on speedo its easier to tell the acceleration. Are you on suicide mission riding so close to the cars?

nickargas 16 Aug 2014 11:46

Lol! You're right telling me off about my riding very close to the cars... this road is very big for Cretes standards so that's why I overtook them like that... will make a different vid with the headband but the tacho I'm using is pretty accurate and when it says 100 its 110 on the oem one and so on...

I have just sold CCM R30 supermoto. Original engine was a 650 Suzuki freewind which CCM used. Mine was bored to 710 cc with a kent cam, flowed head ,one off carbon /stainless system and that was dyno'd at 52...
