@ Caminito: Agree with you, everybody can speak their truth. So you think I am bullying Kawazoki. Ok first I had to look up the definition of Bullying. Here it is:

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.

Reading my posts again, yes, they could fit under bullying. But reading Kawazokis posts again, I would say he is bullying DakarMotos.

Anyway, sure nobody is obliged to post in a database, but it would have given Kawazokis post at least some credibility and it would have shown that he can produce more than two line posts.

Anyway what I wrote is my truth and I dont see Kawazokis posts about DakarMotos as credible.

I've not witnessed first hand this entry point, so can't comment on the above, but what I do know is Knowledge is king. Do your research, do your paper work, and your in with the minimum of fuss. Turn up unprepared or with something not quite right .............. your in for a long wait. If you use fixers to facilitate that I would expect things to speed up a bit, which it has done in the past. Imagine sitting at the desk all day every day dealing with foreigners, same old crap problems, things missing or incorrect. Must be great to have a local sort all that out for you. Makes for a nice day at the office. When required fixers ROCK ! :thumbup1:

Javier and Sandra made shipping my bike out of BA about as simple as it could be. Once i had a ship date and about 2 weeks out there response was very good. Emails promptly answered and excellent assistance getting the bike to their shop and on a pallet bound for ATL. What literally took hours would have taken me days without Dakar Moto's.

Worth being aware when he again tramples all over the next thread using this alias or another.

I don't know DakarMotos personally but contacted them for a club friend via Mika username here for the first time last autumn and they replied my 4 e-mails and all my questions via facebook within a day or two.

And also other friend's questions from USA. on the same subject as I was not aware that he has already been contacted.

Pleasure to keep them a good recommandation in my files now and I take this as an opportunity to thank them again.

It seems that getting bikes cleared in Buenos Aires just got VERY much more expensive.
Javier was good enough to reply to my enquiry even though he was on vacation, but his charge is now US $250 per bike, each bike must have its own Airwaybill number (we ship two bikes in one crate), each crate should be under 350kg (ours is 490kg) and goverment taxes and fees can run to US $600 per bike. So, US $1700 to ride our own bikes in Argentina for a couple of weeks? I don't think so!
Contrast this with clearing the same bikes into South Africa less than a month ago: SAR2850 which is about US $235.
