bikes San Fran to Ushuaia are Carnets needed
 

Hi everyone
We're travelling next Aug 09 to Ushuaia.. two bikes, US and UK passports.
Do we need Carnets in all countries... ie.. Mexico, Guatamala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentia.

Where do I need it?
You do NOT need it in the Americas; North, South or Central, at all.

You WILL need it in parts of Africa, and parts of the Middle East, and Asia.

I'm in the planning stages of a trip (something), and buenos or ushuaia back to SF is on my list, but my time frame is march/april 09. maybe we can discuss plans/waypoints/preparations! the point of this message, however, is that i live in SF, so let me know if you have any questions!
