Hey Fab, I've left Bogota and in Quito now. Should make Ushuaia by mid-Dec so I'll be far ahead. No sure on route yet because there's a few ways of crossing into Argentina from Chile and heading south. Still need to decide.

I am about to embark on the same trip - starting in Amarillo, Texas and going to Ushuaia. I plan to leave in March or April. I would love to hear what you have learned along the way!

where are you now? Im going to start my trip in santiago to Washington DC starting on feb1 2014.

Will be leaving Boston for panama around oct 15 2014. Have a little over 4 months so its possible to go a lot further south. Will be on a 2013 klr 650 and am hoping to meet others for the same. Everyone out hear be safe and have a blast
