Hi Larry: I have spare time and can rent one or two of my Yamaha Super Tenere bikes which are prepared for long trips. I charge USD60 a day for each bike plus my expenses (fuel, food and lodging) since I travel with you and perform as guide, translator and mechanical assistance. Maybe I will be booked in November but nothing signed yet. Can do camping and will not cook !!!!... also not necessary to be a company on guided tours.... can make a film of your trip with my 'camera on helmet' and take all pictures you want...
I do what I like most to do... bike adventuring... Thomraider they call me
Saludos,
Roberto

South america

Thanks for the offer but I am afraid that renting two bikes is more than I can afford. Are you in Santiago?

Yes Larry... my hometown is Santiago and for a trip longer than a month my offer is not affordable... better buy two used bikes and sell them when returning but in the same country of origin... as you probably know, this bikes (Supertenere's) are very good for riding two-up and with a 26 liter fuel tank you almost get 500 km between fuel stops.
Cheers and 'buen viaje',
Roberto

Planning on heading to santiago in jan or feb. Looking for a riding partner.

Hi. My name is Rob and looking for a riding partner to ride with in santiago in either jan or feb for one month. I will be purchasing a 250 dual sport upon arrival in santiago and am completely open to any route whether it be north to bolivia or south to TDF and back up through argentina or anything in between. Looking to ride with someone that has no set plan or schedule except an arrival and departure date. Going with the 250 as I would like the ability to do some trails and a 250 is a lot easier for me to handle in the dirt.

About me. I'm 27 and am a laid back, go with the flow kind of guy. My last serious moto trip was through cambodia, laos, thailand, vietnam for 2 months with a buddy I met off of GTrider.com. We had a blast and was defintely the best trip of my life. Never been to SA but looking forward to getting a little more out of it as I speak the language. Looking for someone who's mellow and easy to get along with. Non hard drug user but likes to go out have some drinks after hard days ride. Drop me a line if you're interested as I'm in the prelinary planning stages(plane ticket, bike purchase research). If not, I'll be going solo and will meet you guys on the road. Ride safe.

South America

Well it seems that I am not finding anyone that is looking to go to South America with me this winter. I thought that as I got nearer the departure date I would start to see more postings. Again I am looking for someone that wants to to from Santiago Chile to TDF leaveing on January 5th. and returning on Feb. 3rd. Pretty much open as to the route. Last call..................

just a while..

Dear Larry,

I'll start in Santiago about december 10th and head off to TDF (x-mas and/or new year). Afterwards I'll head North and drive around for a while (I think till april 15th). So I don't think we'll have the same route, but I'm always in for a ride and to accompany you for some days/miles..
I'll travel alone, and will see who I'll meet out there. There should be some more bikers this season..
I hope that also without buddy you continue your plans, and maybe even meet you out there!

Good luck & happy travels.

Gerbie
