I am seriously interested in your RTW trip next year. Can i ask where are you going to start from? and would you have room for one more sensible biker. i am from Essex in the UK.

ill be interested as this fits in with plans i have myself to get to mongolia. may well turn back then but if funds permit then ill be up for the whole route. keep in touch with developments

Hello Marcus, I gather you are planning a RTW ride in 2oo7?
We are planning to drive from Singapore to Europe staring May 2007. We have heard horrendous stories about problems entering China (Delays of 30 and 57 days!)and incompetent China guides as well as extortionate fees.
Do you have knowledge af a reliable Chinese guide agency? I have contacted several- either no reply,or comical "Chinglish". Caravan Cafe has replied with an estimate.They seem to have a good record but some users have been disappointed by the competence of the guide.
Hope we can compare notes, maybe meet up, at some point in our wanderings.
