Hi folks,
going to be in Sibiu for the Redbull Romaniacs in july,after which the 3 guys i'm with are going to head off home leaving me 3 weeks to explore.

planning on heading down to motocamp Bulgaria and going to Buzludzha.After that i'm just heading in a westerly direction towards Montenegro,so looking to see if anyone is available or fancy's hooking up.even some tips or recommendations would be gratefully received.

A bit about me...Open easy going and friendly guy, shit at speaking foreign but a great mechanic and lover of food and beer ...Prefer to ride Gravel/offroad instead of tarmac and like to ride at a leisurely pace seeing the sites and experiencing local culture...Preference is to camp but getting a room somewhere does have an advantage sometime.

will be using a KTM 990 adventure if that makes any odds.

Hi! I've just left Montenegro and I'm now in Bosnia. Montenegro is great, the coast is pretty but full (really full...) of Russian tourists. Head to Durmitor national park and area near Ceranica Gora. You'll see signs for a ski resort. Loads of grassy and gravel trails and no one there! Ignore signs for camp site- they're shut. But lots of opportunity to wild camp. Odd farmer, but very friendly.
There are also lots of rockier gravel trails near Zlostup/Presjeka. More farms here, but I was always allowed to camp in the garden. You can't cross the border to Bosnia here - I tried and failed!

is it not the case you can cross into Bosnia where Gilga did?

Looking at maps do you know if it would be advisable to go from Bulgaria >Serbia>Kosovo>Montenegro

or through Macedonia >Albania > Montenegro ?

Yeah all going great! From what I've read, he crossed at Foca some where. Further south, between Avtovac/Kazanci and Krstac/Zlostrup - this is the one I could not cross at. I went further south and crossed at Trebinje/Lastva and Niksic. Here you can also buy insurance at the border. None is needed for Serbia, should you be heading that way.
