What Geoff said.

The total I found was just over £9K.

For me your first post was a little ambiguous. When you said record breaker, I thought Nick Sanders

There is the "Edelweiss Motorcycle Discover our Earth Expedition."
that is going on now and it is 248 days RTW for $101,600.

They are going to have another one next year.

I suppose something being "expensive" is subjective to how much money you have...

If your bank account is bursting full of cash and you won't really miss it then it's not expensive.

Some people miss out on their whole lives and die with loads of money. At least these people are throwing it around doing something they enjoy instead of passing it onto the vultures...

If you're a measly peasant like me, then it's an unthinkable amount to pay for something I can do on my own...

Oh dear, very poor reply...
I was hoping for an intelligent discussion on this
form of travel, but alas I fear this may now not
be the case...

Hello

I know this is the Bar and no useful content is required, but I was wondering: Are either of you going out for a ride today rather than posting snide comments at each other? Or working on your motorcycle? Or planning a trip somewhere?

I could continue, but I'm off to ride round the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Bye
Chris

Ok then. Lots of random bickering deleted. This thread is now closed. :funmeterno:

Please take any further discussion off-line.
