my BMW r80gs was called The bilge pump, Her stunning good looks were as honed and sculptured as an old bilge pump we had on a ship i worked on some time ago and she certainly made a similar noise as the bilge pump cranking over slowly, with the occasional splutter and fart.

That said and although at times a little bit tempramental she was a reliable old girl. I do miss her and very much regret not having her any more.

I've got three.
One more or less new, so no name. The other two are "Star ship" and the Big Red Bus"

all had names

All of my steeds have had names at some point. My first Bantam was called Twat because it was! Various MZ's and CZ's have all been named expletives because they either broke down or would not start at all. Some 20 bikes later and my Transalp was called Rhonda (Rhonda the Honda, see what I did there?) My Dominator is called Dina and my Kawsaki W800 is called Karen although I am toying with the idea of rechristening her Starbuck as I never want to take her anywhere other than Starbucks and then only in good weather, she is to pretty to get her good looks tarnished with mud and bad weather. lol

Stan her good looks will be more than tarnished with you sitting cozied up on her soft saddle - riding her with a silly smile on yer face.

Jake.

My scooter is called Fatwilly. Nah dont think anything other than I have a large waist and my name is William

I was thinking of adding some sort of "Nose art" to the V7 given the name has stuck. I'm sure you'd have some interesting conversations if you tried it

And welcome to HUBB
